Where will India be in 15 years? That’s the question more people should be asking.

When nations industrialize, a pattern tends to repeat. First, most of the population works in hard labor jobs like agriculture or manufacturing. Over time, as wages rise and technology advances, people shift into less physically demanding roles and the economy becomes more service-driven. The United States followed this arc in the 20th century. China is moving through it now. And India may be next.

With the largest population in the world and a growing middle class, India could become one of the most influential economies on the planet.
