Space isn’t just for astronauts anymore. It’s quickly becoming a domain anyone can access, and the numbers prove it.

Kelli Kedis Ogborn of the Space Foundation explains that the space economy has come a long way since the Apollo era. With 12,000 satellites currently active, 20,000 more licensed, and over 50,000 expected by 2035, access to space is opening up like never before.

This shift is unlocking new opportunities for manufacturing, data services, and even tourism.
