The rocket gets the glamor shot, but a launch is only one leg of a much larger network. I follow five companies working on the launch capacity, refueling, communications, and materials that would help make space operations repeatable.

Rocket Lab’s GHOST concept would put launch equipment in deployable containers. SpaceX’s Moon-base ambitions raise the question of recurring deliveries, maintenance, and reverse flows. Dawn Aerospace is developing a docking and fluid-transfer interface for its Loop refueling concept. Cascade Space is building deep-space communications capacity. Anatar’s work in advanced textiles and traceability shows why the materials behind people and hardware matter, too. These projects are at different stages; I’m looking at the logistics each layer would have to solve.

In this episode:
▪ Why Rocket Lab’s deployable launch concept is a capacity-placement decision
▪ What a lasting Moon base would need after the first delivery
▪ The compatibility problem behind orbital refueling
▪ Why communications are the control tower for deep-space missions
▪ How textiles, manufacturing, and traceability fit into the space supply chain
